Business Challenge: Nuna's enterprise platform was built to meet evolving business needs but lacked a cohesive user experience and design system. As a result, each client received a highly customized interface, preventing the development of a scalable, standardized solution.

User Research & Navigation Mapping

We conducted user interviews and card-sorting exercises to understand how users expected to access information.

payers

Our most complex user. They navigate through detailed reports, reimbursement insights, and contract performance metrics to optimize costs and care quality.

providers

Doctors, care coordinators, and healthcare administrators rely on the platform to primarily monitor member data and are limited in reporting scope.

executives

Healthcare and insurance leadership teams leverage the platform at the highest level. They must see key trends and financial data to help guide business decisions.

We transformed Nuna’s enterprise platform by unifying navigation, standardizing data visualization, and streamlining workflows to better serve Payers, Providers, and Executives.


By creating a scalable design system, optimizing information hierarchy, and reducing friction in data access, we made it easier for users to analyze insights, make informed decisions, and adapt to platform updates with minimal retraining—all while working within existing backend constraints.
